UP-CYCLED ART HATS
6 years ago my sequin obsession climbed up my neck and started sparkling across my hats. I found the challenge of stitching 3d sequin flowers onto hats strangely relaxing and love the movement it allows in the sequins. A lot of these hats are inspired by the very op shop in which they were found in, or the audio book I listened too while driving there. I love visiting op shops and finding strange hats bits and bobs and then taking them home to match up to sequins in my collection.
This is couture headwear, made from rubbish for people who aren’t. While being sun safe and fabulous, these hats are stitched to be wear tear and party proof. Each unique art hat utilizes up-cycled hats/fabrics/beads \& sequins where possible. These hats are the perfect party companion, ethically made \& outrageously unique and Australian Doof proof. Wait till you see these under party lights on the dance floor
